BullBuilder is pleased to announce the winner of the U19s player of the month for June 2019.
The June award goes to halfback Matthew Race sponsored by K3 Cosmetic Dental Studio. Matthew, who comes from the Stanley Rangers community club, is a stand-off or scrum half who has impressed this season.
U19 Coach Leigh Beattie said “Matthew is a stand off or scrum half who controls the game well. He’s really worked on his defence in the past few months as well. However it is in terms of his attitude that he has made real progress. He’s can be a bit of a “class clown” but over the past few months his growing maturity has shone through. I think he’s realised what he needs to do in order to progress. His overall performance has lifted 100% and I hope he continues to mature as he’s a real talent.”
BullBuilder chairman Paul Butterworth said “Matthew is a deserving winner of the June U19 Player of the Month Award. We’re looking forward to seeing him kick on and follow in the footsteps of Rowan Milnes, another halfback that has come through the systems. BullBuilder is delighted to reward him for his effort.
Matthew will receive his award from Ollie Beukes (K3 Cosmetic Dental Studio) at the home game versus Swinton on 14 July.
BullBuilder will also be presenting Certificates of Achievement to those who participated in the Snowdonia Challenge. BullBuilder would like to thank all the sponsors, at present we have received over £4000 in sponsorship money to support youth development at the Bulls.
