Scholarship Coach Martyn Oxbury
Scholarship Players of the month
Milo Bostock – Nov
Milo has shown a tremendous hunger and commitment to self improvement. He is someone who always gives his all in training and competes and every play. His hard work doesn’t stop away from training and this has contributed to his development so far. During this tough preseason he has been one of the most consistent and top performing when taking on many of the physical tests and challenges that he has been set. He has also responded well to feedback on his in-game performance and is eager to learn and develop due to his coachable attitude.
Josh Hill – Oct
Josh has recently begun training as part of our new scholarship intake at U15’s. Josh had his U14 season disrupted by injury but showed his talents when fit with some typical hard working and uncompromising performances. It was during his return to playing community after a long recovery that he suffered a further set back. While many may have felt frustrated and down, Josh has shown a commitment and professionalism to his rehab and recovery, something that is more mature than his years. His attitude and dedication to train and rehab has been exemplary and he is a great role model to his peers in how to respond to set backs.
Dylan Garbett – Sept
Dylan has learnt from his experiences in the U15’s and returned in the new season by setting some really high standards with his consistency, performance and work rate. He has shown both in and out of training a commitment to self improvement by developing his skills and it is noticeable how much he has developed over the recent months to become a consistent and high performing member of the squad.
Academy Coach – Glenn Morrison
Academy Player of the Month
Lewis Owens – Nov
The whole squad has been outstanding at training since we have started back. No excuses just plenty of hard work and positive attitudes. The trainer of the month could have went to a number of players. But we have awarded it to Lewis Owen’s. Lewis’s commitment starts with his commute from Wrexham each session. Lewis has not shied away from any task asked of him and has looked at home in team situations getting the team around the park. Great start to the year and well deserved trainer of the month.
