BullBuilder, the Bradford Bulls’ Supporters’ Trust is pleased to welcome James Lowes as the Bulls’ new coach.
“Jimmy was a legend as a Bulls player,” said Chairman Mike Farren. “He was at the heart – indeed, you could argue that he was the heart – of the most successful period in the club’s history. Though our position and our immediate ambitions are a little more modest right now, we hope that he can instil some of the same determination and will to succeed into the team, now and in the future.
“Jimmy also played alongside great home-grown Bradford talents, like Stuart Fielden, Jamie Peacock and Leon Pryce, so he will be aware of the benefit of bringing young players through the club’s Academy, and we at BullBuilder look forward to working with him to do just that.”
At the same time, BullBuilder wished to pay tribute to Francis Cummins and Lee St.Hilaire.
“Francis and Lee stood by the club and its fans through the toughest times most of us can remember,” said Farren, “even demonstrating their loyalty by working without pay for a period. They were dealt a very difficult hand with uncertainty off the field and disruption to playing staff and, even though results did not go their way, they demonstrated great dignity and personal integrity. We wish them all the best for a successful future.”
Other commitments permitting, we hope to see James Lowes at the BullBuilder Race Night in the Coral Stand on Wednesday 2nd July at 7:00 PM. Tickets for the event are still available at £5, and can be obtained from the Bradford Bulls’ ticket office, or by emailing info@perfomancedg.com. Alternatively, you can pay on the door.
