Bullbuilder Committee Member Paul Butterworth will be hoping for a mild night on November 6th when he will join Robbie Hunter Paul and members of the Bulls First team squad to bed down for the night in the open at the Provident Stadium.
Paul will be raising funds for the Bradford Bulls Foundation and the charity Centrepoint who are the UK’s leading charity for homeless young people, supporting 16-25 years olds with housing, learning, health and life skills. Centrepoint work with more than 300 homeless young people in the Bradford area. Funds raised will be divided equally with the Bradford Bulls Foundation, who use the power of sport to educate, motivate and inspire the local community with sport and education.
Paul said “Thinking about homeless people sleeping outside over the forthcoming winter and knowing about the fantastic work the Bradford Bulls Foundation do made me want to do something to help. I’d like to thank everyone who has sponsored me so far for your support and very kind donations. They are very much appreciated.”
Bullbuilder chairman Mike Farren said “It’s great that the Bulls have supported this initiative from Centrepoint who are a very deserving cause. As the official Bradford Bulls supporters trust we had to get on board. I hope Paul has a warm sleeping bag!”
You can support Paul by making a donation at his Just Giving Page at https://sleepout2014-bradford.everydayhero.com/uk/paul or you can even take part yourself. Further details are available on the Bulls’ website or by dialing 01274 200 500.
Paul said “It certainly is well outside comfort zone and takes me back over 50 years when I went camping on Baildon Moor with the scouts!”
