BullBullder, fresh from the success of the Dinnertime in the Park event on 3 June, have added further monies toward the Bulls Academy. The Supporters Trust ran a “penny a point” competition for supporters to guess how many points the U19s would score in games and funds raised will add around £100 to the £1000 already raised this month.
Funds will get a further boost on 15 July when BullBuilder host a Race night at The Northern pub on Halifax Road. Admission is £5 including a hot supper. Places can be reserved by visiting https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/race-nig … 7354102588 or you can buy tickets from behind the bar at the Northern.
BullBuilder will be inviting a number of ex-players and academy players along on the night. BullBuilder chairman Sam Grundy said: “Race nights are always good fun and our last event was a big success with over 100 people coming along. Anyone that fancies a fun evening that also goes toward helping the academy lads should come along. At £5 a head including hot supper it’s a bargain.”
BullBuilder will soon be announcing where funds will be spent, Sam Grundy commented “We’re always in touch with John Bastian and his team and we’ll be making a very sizeable donation soon for a very specialised piece of equipment that is for use by the academy and scholarship players. We’ll be announcing that very soon.”
Head of Youth at the Bulls John Bastian said “BullBuilder continues to provide us with amazing support and we’re very grateful to them. Developing and keeping our junior talent is vital for the club as we move forward. BullBuilder helps provide things that attract new players and keep others who may hopefully have good careers with us. I’d urge more fans to get involved with BullBuilder.”
