BullBuilder make “Oar-some” contribution

BullBuilder, the Bradford Bulls supporter’s trust has again weighed in with a significant contribution of £3000 toward the development of young players at the club thanks to the purchase of new Concept 2 Rowing Machines.

Head of Youth John Bastian said “Rugby League players use indoor rowing in their training regimes because rowing uses the upper and lower body and improves fitness levels.   It is one of the best full body exercises you’ll ever come across.   It’s also low impact and doesn’t burden joints and prevents injury. The rowing machines will be used by both the youth players and first teamers and help improve the fitness of all.”

BullBuilder chairman Paul Butterworth said “It’s clear that these new rowing machine will be of significant benefit to the youth players and to first teamers so we were very happy to make this contribution.   As always this wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of BullBuilder members and supporters whose contributions are invaluable.”

John Bastian said “The rowing machines are now in situ at the Tong training centre and being used by the players.  They look fantastic and will have a real beneficial effect.   I’d like to thank BullBuilder for yet another great contribution.”

Supporters wishing to help contribute towards BullBuilder’s next donation are invited to come along to the annual quiz night at Odsal.  The event will take place at 7pm on Wednesday 21st February at the Southbank at Odsal Stadium.  Single tickets are available for £5 or a team of 4-6 for £20.   Tickets can be bought at the club shop or online at http://bullbuilder.nutickets.com .   Alternatively you can contact David Lowdell on 07854 259103.
